Bio: LESSONS WE HAVE LEARNED ABOUT THE IMPORTANCE OF LEARNING THE QURAN FROM THE HOLY PROPHET PBUH

Learning Quran is probably where you start being a Muslim. It is the part where you listen or read about what Allah SWT has ordered you to do. It is, after all, his direct word.

The holy Prophet PBUH elaborated on the Quran for us. He was sent to put the teachings of the Quran in practice, as only a human could best teach others the best way to follow the Quran. Hence we are writing this article to use the example of the Prophet PBUH to see how much importance he placed on learning Quran. We will also provide you with helpful tips about how you can follow up on the Prophet PBUH's advice.

• Read Quran even if you struggle
Allah SWT rewards every good deed, and he watches over our struggle. He rewards us immensely when he sees us striving for a good cause in difficult circumstances. The holy Prophet PBUH tried to give us the same lesson in his Hadith.
Sayidatina Aishah (r.a.) reported:
الذي يقرأ القرآن وهو ماهر به مع السفرة الكرام البررة، والذي يقرأ القرآن ويتتعتع فيه وهو عليه شاق له أجران‏
"The one who is proficient in the recitation of the Qur'an will be with the honorable and obedient scribes (angels), and he who recites the Qur'an and finds it difficult to recite, doing his best to recite it in the best way possible, will have two rewards." (Sahih Al-Bukhari & Muslim)
However, if you want to improve, you should start by signing up at Learn Quran Online. It's a website that helps you learn Quran with credible teachers. Especially for Muslims that do not speak Arabic as a native language, it can be very hard to read Quran or find a good local teacher that can help you learn Quran. We provide a good alternative for these people to learn Quran online for kids and adults. It is particularly helpful for Muslims living in countries like the United States, United Kingdom, Australia, and Canada, where people have taken a liking to learning Quran online.

• There are no exceptions or excuses
When it comes to religion, you cannot take a day off. You are never excused from praying except those specified by the Quran and the Prophet PBUH, e.g., menstruation. The Holy Prophet worshipped in sickness and in health. He even worshipped on the battlefield and encouraged his people to do the same. Islam values consistency.
Abu Huraira reported: The Messenger of Allah, peace, and blessings be upon him, said, "Take up good deeds only as much as you are able, for the best deeds are those done regularly even if they are few." (Sunan Ibn Mājah 4240)

• Literacy holds great value
The holy Prophet PBUH always gave importance to education. After the battle of Badar was over and Muslims took some prisoners, he literally equaled the price of educating someone to freedom of the prisoner. The battle of Badar teaches us the importance of literacy to the Prophet PBUH.
There are other incidents we can quote here. Despite the fact that women had no value in the Arab society, the Prophet PBUH made sure to give their education and upbringing equal importance. In terms of education, Hazrat Prophet (PBUH) made no distinction between men and women; he made sure that both men and women received an education. He set aside a day for ladies and spoke to them. During his day, there were female educators. Indeed, he set aside a day for women to address their concerns to him.

The Prophet PBUH also said, "The best gift from a Father to his child is education and upbringing."
Hadith of At-Tirmidhi on the authority of Sa'id Ibn Al-'as.

• Education is an act of Jihad
Jihad is not just done by physical warfare. Jihad is a fight in the way of Allah SWT for the protection of Islam. This fight is not just with swords, or in today's world, by guns. You can fight for the cause of Islam by fighting against your own evil temptations. This is called the greater Jihad by the Prophet PBUH.
One way to do that is by gaining more knowledge about the Quran. When you learn the Quran online, you learn how to fight off the Shaitan. You can easily fight your inner battles and find the right path, the path of righteousness. We recommend you to learn Quran online with Tajweed. A website called learn Quran online has been getting a lot of audience in countries like the United States, United Kingdom, Australia, and Canada for its good reviews and excellent teachers.

• You should memorize the Quran to keep it in your heart
Memorization of the Holy Quran was one of the few ways that it could be preserved in the time of the Holy Prophet PBUH. It was also a very productive activity because you carried the Quran in your heart, reaping all its benefits.
Abu Musa (May Allah be pleased with him) reported:
Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) said, "It is out of reverence to Allah in respecting an aged Muslim, and the one who commits the Qur'an to memory and does not exaggerate pronouncing its letters nor forgets it after memorizing, and to respect the just ruler."(Riyad as-Salihin 354)
The Holy Prophet PBUH also stressed the fact that if you do not memorize the Quran, you will be led astray very soon. Abu Musa Al-Ash'ari (May Allah be pleased with him) reported:
The Prophet (ﷺ) said, "Read the Qur'an regularly. By the One in Whose Hand Muhammad's soul is, it escapes from memory faster than a camel does from its tying ropes." [Al-Bukhari and Muslim].
